To vote in the 2026 Winnipeg Municipal Election, you must meet the eligibility requirements set by the City of Winnipeg.
- Canadian citizen
- At least 18 years old on Election Day

What ID do I need?
You can show one government-issued photo ID with your name and address, or two accepted documents that together show your name and address.
What if I’m not on the voters list?
You may still be able to vote. Bring acceptable identification to your voting location and follow the registration process.
